    1. Hi, Deepak –

I ended up not altering the isolinux.cfg file at all. For my purposes, I decided to just put the ks.cfg file under /isolinux and then tell the system where to find it on the boot: command line when I booted from DVD. So I can’t advise anyone at this point about how to alter isolinux.cfg yet.

For the ks.cfg file, I also didn’t know how to create one from scratch. What I did was, I installed Red Hat interactively one time on a test server. Then I logged into that server I had just built, and found /root/anaconda-ks.cfg. This file is a ks.cfg based on the selections I made as I was doing the interactive install. So, starting with that file, I uncommented out the lines for partitioning my disk, added some post-installation commands in the %post section, and renamed it ks.cfg. Then I carried on with the procedure I outlined in my post.

      Hope this helps –
